History: The location our team investigated in Dearborn Heights is a private home. The house was built in 1955, according to Zillow.com. It is a single story Ranch-Style with three bedrooms and one bathroom. The house is 1,008 square feet and sits on a lot of 6,098 square feet.
According to the 1891 plat map of Dearborn the land this house is on once belonged to a farmer named P. Hermitte. It wasn’t until 1960 that Dearborn Heights was incorporated as a city by connecting to discontinuous areas of Dearborn and a strip from Inkster to connect these two sections, which is why if you look at a map of Dearborn Heights today it looks like a weird looking letter I.
Some of the people that have lived in this house in the past were named Krogol, Benmore and Gambaro. There is no evidence that anyone with these last names died in the house. However, Henrietta Krogol was born in 1927 and may have returned to her home, but there is no evidence that she has passed away.
Claims: This home was investigated by another paranormal team in 2011 and they contacted our team due to the children feeling threatened by a shadow figure in the home. Family reported, We have lived here for about 10 years and have had other groups come out and have always had things happen. My daughter recently took pictures in her room and caught something interesting. We have shadows, noises, whispers, orbs, portals…the list goes on and they are more active in the winter months.”
Once at the site, the family reported that there are allegedly two men, one angry, a teacher and a child.
When asked if previous residents that lived in the home experienced activity, the family reported that the handyman that works for the owner has reported experiencing stuff at the home.
Investigation:
Carrie did a walk through of the home to gain a sense of any spirits. She did report that what the family said was in the home. We then did a walk through with dowsing rods and the rods took us to the son’s closet. The son reported that the closet opens on its own and they had to put a nail in to keep the doors closed. When the dowsing rod was placed in the closet, it began to spin quickly leading us to believe there may be a portal there.
Carrie and Mackenna went back through the home and said they saw a shadow figure.
Brenda had started a video but something had shut it down right away. She was able to get half of the investigation recorded by video but had audio running the whole time.
The ovilus was placed in the living room and began spewing many words. At one point we began talking about one of the entities and it yelled out “Surprise.” It startled us because it said it with some excitement which we had never heard on an Ovilus.
Mackenna went through the house with the SLS camera to see if anything could be picked up. She picked up a figure in the kitchen that stood by a cabinet. Brenda tried to get it to interact with her but was unable to. It appeared to be looking for a knick knack they had on the shelf. Carrie attempted to feel the energy and we believe it was one of the knick knacks that belonged to the client’s grandmother. Brends moved one to a higher shelf, and the stick figure acted like it was trying to grab it. Not long after a smaller stick figure showed up about the size of a child but Carrie could not pick her up psychically. At one point the dog appeared to have issues with the SLS camera and began growling and barking at it.
We did an EVP session in the living room. We could not get the maglite flashlight to perform for communication purposes.

Ovilus Words
After the EVP session, Carrie got messages to give to the client from her deceased mother.
The house was exorcised and saged. Carrie stated she could sense the entities scattering except the angry man. She got up with the sage stick and she followed him from the living room through the kitchen to the front door. She assisted him in crossing over even though he first acted like he didn’t want to leave.
We left Palo Santro with the family to cleanse the house a few more times after we left and Apache Tears for the four corners of the property to create a barrier. They seemed hesitant due to wanting deceased family members to remain
